Engineer Adnan Abdullah Al-Othman<\/strong><\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n Born in Kuwait on January 24, 1957.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Syracuse University in the United States of America in 1979.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n Banking consultant, real estate dealer, historical researcher, and activist in the field of charitable and endowment work.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n He moved to several positions in the banking sector, and was appointed as Assistant General Manager of the Finance Sector at Kuwait Finance House until his retirement in 2002, then a real estate consultant at Boubyan Bank and finally a member of its board of directors.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n Member of the Committee of Trustees for the management and development of a third of the late Abdullah Abdul Latif Al-Othman.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n Honorary Chairman of the Kuwaiti Heritage Team emanating from the Voluntary Work Committee.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n Writer for Al-Qabas Kuwaiti newspaper, has a weekly column entitled: “Traveler’s Blog”.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n Member of the Kuwaiti Journalists Association.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n He collected and republished the poems of his late father Abdullah Abdul Latif Al-Othman in a book under the title Diwan Al-Othman.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n He published the book Al-Othman School, in which he chronicled the history of private education in Kuwait from 1931 AD to 1946 AD.<\/p>\r\n \r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n In addition to the recently published book, Beit Al-Othman, which chronicles the period of time accompanying the construction of the house of the late Abdullah Abdul Latif Al-Othman in the Hawally area of Kuwait City, which is considered one of the archaeological sites in Kuwait, and has become a museum and a heritage landmark that reflects the ancient history of Kuwait.
